Test principle

In moderately acidic solution, Ca react with Arsenazo III, producing purplish-red complex which shows absorption at 650 nm. The intensity of the color is proportional to the concentration of Ca in the specimen.

Storage and stability

Unopened: Store test kits at 10 - 30℃ protected from light. Stable to expiration date printed on individual vials (for 15 months).

Opened: Store test kits at 10 - 30℃ protected from light. Stable for 1 month if kept capped from original container and free from contamination.
